1. What do you do outside of the gym? Career, hobbies, etc.!
I’ve been an ultrasound tech for almost 3 years and I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We enjoy being outdoors, spending time with our dogs (Jack, Pickles, and Piper), and having dinner at King Cropp.
2. How long have you been training with us?
Since June of 2023.
3. What's been your biggest accomplishment since you began training with us?
A few come to mind, but my biggest accomplishment would be deadlifting 225lbs or box jumps (I actually cried after successfully doing these in a workout for the first time).
4. What's your favorite thing about being a member here?
Honestly everything. The coaches, the members, the workouts. I’ve never met a more diverse group of people from varying backgrounds, fitness levels, and ages that come together to support and encourage one another every single day. The coaches are truly second to none, they will help you in any way possible and push you to be your best self. My favorite part about the workouts are they can be scaled for any fitness level; regardless if you RX’d or scaled, you leave feeling accomplished every single day.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering training with us?
Don’t be scared. There is NO judgement when you walk through those doors. I have never felt more comfortable and accepted by a group of people than I do here at Old 97 CrossFit. I promise you, once you join, you’ll wish you would have started sooner.
